You don’t need to be a qualified scuba diver to partake in this adventure as this experience is for both a certified diver and for the non diver who wishes to enjoy the ultimate adventure of diving with the sharks, rays and the huge amount of other aquatic life.

Just imagine being up close and personal with these magnificent undersea creatures.
You will be swimming with a number of different sharks including Grey Nurse Sharks (the first protected shark in the world), the coastal Sandbar Whalers, Whitetip Reef Sharks (bottom-oriented sharks that rarely come to the surface), the extremely flexible Zebra Sharks and many more. Imagine the adrenalin rush, all only centimetres away yet this is a very controlled and safe environment.

Underwater World’s fully qualified dive instructors will accompany you on this dive experience to ensure your safety. Groups are limited to a maximum size of 4, so book early to avoid disappointment.

For the qualified diver:   Cost $195.00 a full day entry into Underwater World, all scuba equipment supplied and a 30 minute dive in the 2.5 million litre shark tank. Divers are to 14 years or older and should bring their certification card, swimmers, towel and complete a medical questionnaire.

For the non diver: Cost $245.00  Full day entry to Underwater World plus Underwater World’s fully qualified and experienced dive instructors will give you a thorough briefing and a personal scuba lesson right before entering the shark tank. You will then be guided on the dive by your instructor. Divers must be over 14 years of age and will need to complete a medical questionnaire. Please bring your swimmers and a towel.
Allow 90 minutes for the total experience, 30 minutes of which will be spent underwater in the oceanarium

When are the dives conducted? The scheduled time for dives is 1.30p.m.         7 days a week.

HMAS Brisbane Blue Water Dive are one of only two South East Queensland scuba diving charter operators who are permitted to dive on the wreck of the ex-HMAS Brisbane off Mooloolaba.
