With the promise of clear water last issue I can say we were a little disappointed that the water didn’t clear up as quickly as we were hoping (approx 8 metres viz) but the good news is that on Monday when we headed out we found the water had cleared to 15-20 metres viz.
It has stayed that way all week. Whales breaching only 100 metres from the dive boat and listening to them singing while underwater, what more could a diver ask for? So the diving has been great this week with calm seas and the clear water.
It should hold into next week by the look if things too. Water temp is still sitting on 22C and Mertle the turtle is still “hanging out” at the HMAS BRISBANE.
Heading to Vanuatu for 10 days so will think of you all while we’re away.
